The parent who does not have exclusive or primary physical custody of a child (as well as grandparents and other family members who have significant bonds with the child) generally has the right of reasonable visitation with the child. What is "reasonable" is ultimately determined by the judge in the case. Even if the parents enter into a co-parenting arrangement, the parent who does not have physical custody at any given time is entitled to visit with the children.
